Creating my own module..

a depandancy to use the same tables?

sure you can do that.

this is a sample for the newtag module

if($opnConfig['installedPlugins']->isplugininstalled('system/new_tag')){

I think its no problem to change this line to check for banners.

Creating my own module..

Hey all,

to get myself familiar with the opn module structure I took the banners module and want to create a jbanners module.

This module will do exactly the same as the banners module accept it uses a java applet to rotate the banners automaticly.

- Can I create a module dependancy on banners? or should I create my own table structure for this module?
