Anypage?

I figured it out... you do have to put a folder in the anypage_data_urlxxx folder. The folder name will be listed as catagory by default. One question... can I submit forms that post to other pages in Anypage? Do I need to have it post to the new "Anypage" URL, instead of the original filename... even though they are in the same folder??

Thanks again.

Thanks for the info, but I would like to know more... such as, do I put a FOLDER in the cache/anypagedata folder for importing?

I am confused about how to import pages and directories... Lets say I wanted to use a folder full of current Form files.

If the folders name was formfiles, and the file I want to show is "formprocess.php" how would I go about the process?

Thanks for your help in advance!!

K

Thanks for your help manne....
I'm still a little confused because I put an Anypage box on the side menu, but it is not visible.. do I have to do something else?

I made an anypage without any external file.. I just typed stuff into the Pagecontent box.... now there are a few things beneath the pagecontent box,

First the 'visible' or 'invisible' radio buttons... what do they do?
Second the Category...
Third, "Is a category menu" what is this?
Fourth, " Visible in the category" does this need to be checked?

Thanks
PJ

Some Infos about Anypage:

Anypage
Display HTML- and PHP-code within the OPN layout. Furthermore you can import files and folders.

Link in OPN: home --> administration --> Anypage

Anypage offers the following pages / Centerboxes:

Sidebox | Centerbox
Anypage Box | Anypage Index Box
Anypage Categories Box | Anypage Categories Box

Anypage is using the following folders in OPN:

/cache/anypage_data_url_xxxxx:
This is the folder from which data are read if imported

/cache/anypage_impex_xxxxx:
This folder is for file import/export.

Main Page

When you open the Anypage administration you get the main page which displays the available submenus as buttons in the upper part. To import pages, those pages have to be located in the respective folder.

If Anypages have been created, you will see a list of those pages below.

Status: Pages that are visible for users. Inactive pages.

Pagename: Assign a name only once. This is how you call the page.

Anypage: Page title

Category: The title for the page in OPN.

POS: Existing pages can be organized in that you shift them to top or bottom using the arrows.

Option:
• Edit
• Delete
• Show displays the respective page on the screen.

Advice: If you configured OPN to code the URL, you just call the respective URL with Anypage using show, then copy the link. This link can be cut and pasted into other modules/boxes.

To create a menu with this link I use the following:
Create a sidebox: HTML Box
Create a link in the content of the sidebox like this:
<a class=\"sidebox\" href=\"http://the_link_you_see_with_show\">the_menu_item</a>

There are other possibilitys, it´s just i did it here on the webside in the box "OPN at a glance"
