You are right, it may be too much work and learning to use OPN for this simple task. OPN can handle a big website with lot of functions.

But perhaps it's worth thinking about improving the whole website and use OPN?

I did register for the site, and will keep it in mind. My query was not entirely clear. *I* knew that what I meant by *Newsletter* is the paper version, sent by SnailMail to a mailing list, not the electornic equivalents. The organization does also have a static website, with some old news on it. I want to archive the website, and add access to each of the *new* newsletters I've edited, on a volunteer basis. Some of the newsletters have already been converted to pdf files; in fact I *could* add the pdf files to the old original website.

There isn't a huge incentive to learn a brand new content management system for this one task, that occurs about five times a year.

As I know the function of newsletters, these are sent by email. OPN includes a newsletter module to send them to the users. They also can be shown to the user in chronological series.

But perhaps you mean news. In OPN we have the article module to present latest news in chronological series. OPN has an built in editor where you can import word documents.
In the next version you can also use an WYSIWYG Editor.

A lot of possibilities.....install OPN, play with it, and find out what works best for your kind of work.

May be itīs a good idea to register here at this site and take some time to explore different functions of OPN.

Chronological series of .pdf or MSWord .doc files?

I am looking for a content management system where I can upload a series of newsletters, where each can be read in sequence by date. The existing newsletters are in Microsoft Word *.doc format, but can easily be in *.pdf format. I could probably also turn them into html, but that would be rather ugly and very lengthy.

Is OPN what I need to do this?
