Browser detection problems

Posted: 2006-02-03 23:06

I don't know what the best way to describe this is, but I'll try.

I am using Windows Server 2003 with XAMPP 1.52.1-beta.

To get through the installation from step 6 to 7, I had to comment out lines 864 through 866 in class.browser.php because of an error. Then I had to make changes to line 1105 of install.php because it would not pick up the time correctly and would cause and error.

To get from step 7 to 8, I had to comment out line 111 in the file class.shared_mem.php, because it had problems with the SQL statement. Also, I had to comment out line 148 in the file class.errorhandler.php because of problems with the browser again.

After making these changes, I did get a finalized installation on OpenPHPNuke, but this also has a lot of errors.

Here is a link to the page - Link to error page

I hope this helps out.
