we had the cross-upgrade feature a long time ago, but it is not up to date and so not wirking (yet). Also there are no current plans to reactivate it (since the requests for that are one per year).

Is it just articles you are interessted on?

cross-update possible?

Posted: 2005-11-18 16:21

Hi,
I run myPHPNuke for a couple of years and liked it. However my site was hacked repeatedly, only a couple of days ago by spammers, so that my host disabled all major functions.
My first idea was, that now the time has come to upgrade MPN, however it looks as if there were no new development, no stable final version since a couple of years.
Will it be possible to install OPN instead and use the old database? I have around 800 articles (without the forum postings etc.), and I do not like the idea to do the complete work again.
So that is my question. Would be great to have an alternative without having to start from scratch.
Best wishes
Dirk
