So some developer words about a rating system.
It will not be hooked into the userpoints system.
Cause that's a job for a special class in the OPN core.
That's better. Cause then we can use it in every other module that need a rating system. Like Tutorials, Reviews and so on.
I'm woking at the moment at a bug tracking module for OPN based on Mantis. Cause that is a think that we need on this and the german site. When the module is finished maybe the ratingsystem will be the next. Cause I've a lot of ideas for new modules and OPN changes .

There is no rating system yet

Things to watch if your download fails
Keep me informed if it works please

How does openphpnuke operate in high volume environments??

Yes we believe so. As an example: the page http://www.thebatworld.de/ is made with OpenPHPNuke and claims to have as many visitors as your site...and still no problems around Perhaps itīs a good idea to contact the webmaster there to get more information.

how does openphpnuke do this

As you may have seen, OpenPHPNuke is far far awy from nuke code....OpenPHPNuke is new code and some kind of other techniques used. The developers try to use the database very effectively and the results are a very fast system and high security. What we think about Nukes you can read at about Nukes

Feel free to ask us and give us feedback what you are thinking. The developers of OPN are very active and always listening on this channel

Good evening,

On my search to the perfect cms I discovered openphpnuke tonight...I must say it comes pretty close!! I only have a problem downloading the package, I registered at this site and at the .info one, but there's a login error on the .info site, something about a 'mobile phone error'...so I can't login and I can't download the package. Is there another place where I can find the package??

Another question; How does openphpnuke operate in high volume environments?? My site gets between 6000/9000 visitors a day and is currently running on Geeklog, but that one pulls a lot database calls and puts a lot pressure on the server...how does openphpnuke do this??

And the final question; I saw a lot of pre-installed modules, I really like the userpoints one, but I'm missing an rating system to rate the news etc...is there module available to can do this??

Hopefully someone can answer these questions!! Cause I really would like to give openphpnuke a try...

Greets Nordinho,
