Error?

Posted: 2004-03-14 10:32

its seems that this is caused by a misconfigurated PHP.

A session uses a temporary Files (defined in php.ini) - but the path for this (or the rights for you to uses this path) is not ok.

Error?

Posted: 2004-03-13 22:47

Hi!
I'm having a small problem that I'm hoping someone may be able to help me with.
I'm getting an error at the top of every page. Here is the error:

ERROR [2] session_start(): open(/tmp\sess_8c0584724a421e4d128db45bfaa00d78, O_RDWR) failed: No such file or directory (2)
FOUND IN [C:\****\****\site-name\class\class.opnsession.php]
FOUND AT 252

(path modified for security purposes)

I installed this today into my testing site and the install went perfectly. It is accessible from the web and everything seems to be functioning ok. It's just an annoyance at this point.

I'm running Apache 2.0.47 with PHP 4.3.4 and MySQL 4.0.17 on a box at my home.
A couple of other sites using PHP and MySQL are hosted on the box without any problems, so I'm fairly sure that everything is configured correctly, however, I know next to nothing about programming so I could be mistaken.

Anyways, any help/info would be greatly apprieciated, thank you.
