sounds a little bit like a database setting problem. Is the proper char type set for the tables?
Can you search with other tools like phpmyadmin in those records?

Alex

Alex

My site is constructed in UTF-8 encoding, contents of my site on cyrillic, when I search, the search system of site, forum and of glossary finds only exact matching text, and does not find if though one letter has other case.

Sorry for my bad English

Constructed sites using UTF-8, alongside with advantages have one lack, search systems established on such sites not work correct when running search in non-roman alphabetical content, because they search match case.
How to solve this problem?
e.g. Forum search engine, Glossary and other.
