Posts: Installation has gone fine until the point of clicking on "Now go ahead to and check your openPHPnuke" when I get hundreds of the following errors.

Unkown error type: [2048] var: Deprecated. Please use the public/private/protected modifiers
FOUND IN [C:apachefriendsxampphtdocsphpnukeopn2htmlclassclass.settings.php]
FOUND AT 47

I can see some of the home page and I can login, but the following page also contains those errors and also some new ones

FOUND AT 53

Am using XAMMP 1.4.7 with PHP 5 and MySQL 4.0.2 running on XP Pro!

You are using PHP5.... but currently OPN requires PHP4.

Maby we should provide a little script to make opn ready for php5.

I have php5 and opn running here at home because I only needed to replace some small parts in the source.

Posts: There is a switch in 2.2.0 RC - with this enabled the error messages for PHP5 stuff are supressed.
