Posts: | Installation has gone fine until the point of clicking on "Now go ahead to and check your openPHPnuke" when I get hundreds of the following errors.
Unkown error type: [2048] var: Deprecated. Please use the public/private/protected modifiers FOUND IN [C:apachefriendsxampphtdocsphpnukeopn2htmlclassclass.settings.php] FOUND AT 47 I can see some of the home page and I can login, but the following page also contains those errors and also some new ones Unkown error type: [2048] Assigning the return value of new by reference is deprecated FOUND IN [C:apachefriendsxampphtdocsphpnukeopn2htmlsystemadminpluginsideboxadminmenumain.php] FOUND AT 53 Am using XAMMP 1.4.7 with PHP 5 and MySQL 4.0.2 running on XP Pro! |

You are using PHP5.... but currently OPN requires PHP4. manne |

Posts: | There is a switch in 2.2.0 RC - with this enabled the error messages for PHP5 stuff are supressed.
