Hi,
thanks for the good words

The developers of this fine CMS are hhombergs, stefan and xweber.
Myself, I am just a helper

Anyway it should be possible to upgrade your system to OPN. May be not all the contents, but the very important ones which you worked hard for. The developers are very interested and would like to help. Is it possible to get a database dump to do some development? Be sure we respect your privacy.

manne

manne
Thnx for quick reply.
I used this site cause I don't know GERMAN!
That big trouble for me with using opn.
If you mean dump from my php-nuke, that's no problem! I can send it to you, of course if it's for developers
Where to send it?

answered via pm.

Manne is not "just a helper"... He is doing a great job - like many others around the core devolping team.

One more time: big THX to manne!

6.9 is very new and i haven't seen possible structure changes (and imho FB changed the forum again.)

So let's see what we can do...

And i'm going to make russian opn site to support.

So as I see here all developers.
Guys, why so little add-ons? modules, themes and so on?
For a great community you need base add-ons...
Sorry that I write this. I don't know PHP.

over 100 modules for OPN are little?
Did you download only the RC file? When yes there are only the modules from the system dir. The modules from the modules dir(e.g. download, mylinks, glossar an so on) are in separate files to download. A zip that contains the complete OPN is about 10 MB. So we split it. Cause some users are surfing with a little old modem.

xweber is our man for the cross update scripts. But at the moment he has a hard time at work.

Cause the docs are not ready yet. We have made some drastical changes during the betaphase in OPN. So we decided that the documentation will finished after the release.

At the moment we have only 3 themes. Cause we will wait for the final release. Cause there are some changes in the theme scripts and the CSS files. So 3 themes to modify with this new things are easier then a hole bunch of them.
So when we reach the final we will make more themes avalible.

As I said in an email, we do have an almost ready cross-update script. Right now it's working fine for myphpnuke (see xtreme's posting about her upgrade).

I will extend it for your nuke version the next days.

I beg your pardon, buti'm actually very busy at work and don't get those "some minutes" to finished it.
