install in subdirectory - links are broken

Posted: 2005-07-16 17:27

As i want to migrate my current website smoothly I tried to install opn in a subdirectory.
I set the installdir

$installdir='/portal/';

but all links are broken an refer to "/" instead of "/portal".
Is this not supported in opn?

I installed version 2.2.6.

Thanks for your help,
Robert

Did you enter the /portal subdir in the fields for the URL and Physical Path?
Cause the installdir is only used by the tracking module.

Well, I don't have an URL variable in mainfile.php. Where do I set this?

Here is what I have in mainfile.php:

/* physical path to your main opn directory with a trailing slash */
$root_path = '//portal/';
$installdir='/portal/';

You should install opn via install.php
There you are asked for some data, e.g url and physical path.
Typically this installer creates the mainfile.php

Thanks all for your help. I removed the db-tables and install lock files and re-ran the installation. Now it works.

Thx,
Robert
