Directories with 'nobody' ownership

I've narrowed my CMS search down to just a few and this is one of 'em. But before I go and install it, I need to ask a question. Does this system use the nobody user to write to files or do tasks? I ask because everytime I try to delete such files, I have to go and ask my host to do it for me. I'm working on getting permission to see those files but I'd still rather avoid the hassle.

So. Does OPN set up files that way?

Thanks.

O.

I'm trying. Really!

Hi,

yes and no because you can choose.

OPN provides 4 possibilities to manage datafiles. In your situation you should try the ftp behaviour of file managing.
Perhaps you should read:
Things you should know about the server file system

Consider variation 3 or variation 4 to use, depending on the availability of ftp module. This should work for you

Hey! Thanks more than a lot for that. I'll study on the things to consider page and indeed the entire (very good!) documentation section.

Thanks a lot!

O.
